Claire Elise Bocher,/bu:'SeI/boo-SHAY born on 17 March 1988. She is known as Grimes. Initial work is classified as "lo-fi R&B to futuristic dance-pop",[4that draws inspiration from hip-hop, electronic, and rock. The songs she sings often speak to gender issues and science fiction. Five albums have come out. Grimes came from Vancouver then moved to Montreal. Her first independently-based music career in the mid 2000s. In 2010, she released two albums on Arbutus Records, Geidi Primes (and Halfaxa), respectively. In 2012, Visions will be her third studio effort. She signed with 4AD. Visions features the singles "Genesis" as well as "Oblivion" as well as the Canadian music industry Juno Award for Electronic Album of the year. Art Angels, her fourth studio album, was released in 2015. A number of publications have rated it the best album. Miss Anthropocene was her fifth studio album. Grimes is also a judge for Alter Ego, a music contest. She participated in the role-playing game in the Cyberpunk 2077 2020 role-playing game.
