" alt="Stevie Wonder-3-819x1024"/>Tatyana Marisol Ali was born on January 24 1979, is an American actress. She's best known for her role as Ashley Banks on the sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. At four years old, she began singing and soon was able to get some attention through her mother's request for permission to send her to Sesame Street auditions. At the age of six, she started her acting career as a child actor on the Sesame street's educational television show. She performed in many Broadway productions that were staged in New York City, including Fences (with James Earl Jones and later Billy Dee Williams) and Orfeo del Campo (off-Broadway). She was the winner of Star Search twice when she was seven years old. The second time she performed, her performance was rewarded with a score of four stars.
